Sterling silver and polymer clay
This beautiful necklace will find a perfect home in any ensemble! The hamsa has a sterling silver frame filled with Adina Plastelina's uniquely striking polymer clay. Seeming to float on top of the clay are the opening Hebrew verses of the Priestly Blessing, Yevarechecha Hashem Veyishmerecha, Yaer Hashem Panav Elecha Vichuneka ("May Hashem (The Lord) bless you and guard you . . .") (Numbers 6:24-25).
Below the priestly blessing is the Hebrew text of the basic Jewish creed: Shema Yisrael, Hashem Elokeinu, Hashem Echad (Hear, O Israel, Hashem is our God, Hashem is One) (Deuteronomy 6:4).
The holy names are not spelled out, in order to avoid any desecration.
The vibrant millefiori ("thousand flowers") design has been treated in clear enamel and will keep its lustre for many years to come.
