This colorful ceramic mezuzah case will add a fantastic splash of blue, yellow, green, and red to any doorpost it adorns! The Hebrew letter Shin which stands for one of G-d's names (Shin-Dalet-Yud) is printed on the top left corner.

You can attach your mezuzah to the top left corner of every door in your house--especially the entrance. It's known to contribute protection and safety to the home from G-d. The Torah actually commands us to attach a mezuzah to our doorposts as a sign that the place is inhabited by Jews. This tradition comes from the tenth plague that G-d punished the Egyptians with, killing every Egyptian first-born. He commanded the Jews to slaughter a baby he-goat (which was worshipped as a "god" by the Egyptians) and sprinkle its blood on their doorposts so that the Angel of Death would "pass" their houses: hence the term "Pesach" or "Passover."

It features cheerful colorful Old Jerusalem motif.

Each item from Armenian Ceramics is skillfully crafted from ceramic clay according to traditional methods in the Land of Israel. Once it is formed, each item is baked at a high heat (1000°C) until it hardens. It is then masterfully hand painted using metallic and oxidized paint, allowing it to maintain its natural vibrant colors. After, it is reheated and then coated with a fine layer of glazing. After this traditional process is completed, the final product is sure to become a treasured part of your home decor for many years to come!
