The 2006 Yarden Cabernet Sauvignon is complex and deep, layering ripe cherry, blackberry and plum notes with oak, vanilla, cocoa and hints of earthiness. The wine is full-bodied with rich, yet smooth, tannins. Its long, attractive finish concludes with a hint of spice. While delicious now, Yarden Cabernet Sauvignon continues to improve in the bottle for years, and should make for excellent drinking for 10-15 years following the harvest. We enjoy Yarden Cabernet Sauvignon in the framework of a great meal. The wine can enhance many foods, from a festive roast rack of lamb to a hearty Beef Bourguignon.
