Astrological Signs Plate. Armenian Ceramic

Diameter: 8.66" / 22 cm

This gorgeous ceramic plate is full of bright cheerful color!  Keep it on the wall or mantel as a decoration, or take it down and use it for candy, fruit, or whatever comes to mind.  It features the twelve symbols of the Zodiac together with extensive Latin text detailing the names of the months and various Christian and Jewish figures associated with them.

Manufacturing Process:

Each individual item is hand made with ceramic clay. Once complete it is placed in an oven at temp. 1000°C until hardened.
Each piece is then hand painted using metallic and oxidized paint in order to keep its natural color.
Again it is returned to the oven at the same temperature and finished with fine glazing.
