Shalom Trivet (Large). Armenian Ceramic

Size: 8.7" X 8.7" / 22 X 22 cm

This gorgeous trivet will threaten to outshine the dinner you prepared!  The ceramic tile has been set in to a lacquered wooden frame.  It features a classic Armenian colorful floral motif on a blue theme, and in the center are a dove holding an olive branch as well as the words Shalom in Hebrew and English.

Manufacturing Process:

Each individual item is hand made with ceramic clay. Once complete it is placed in an oven at temp. 1000°C until hardened.
Each piece is then hand painted using metallic and oxidized paint in order to keep its natural color.
Again it is returned to the oven at the same temperature and finished with fine glazing.
