We are proud to present an exciting line of Artistic Judaica by Yair Emanuel.
This gorgeous embroidered tapestry is so wonderful, your living room or bedroom will never be the same! At the bottom is a detailed Old Jerusalem motif. In the center is the Biblical verse from King David's wisdom, Im eshkachech Yerushalayim, tishkach yemini ("If I forget you, O Jerusalem, let my right hand wither.") (Psalms 137:5). A beautiful prayer for our times, and a wonderful gift for anybody.
The fringes are made from glass and metal beads. The tapestry may be hung from the attached string.
Artist Yair Emanuel , a graduate of the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, lives and works in Jerusalem. Vivid and harmonious colors as well as a mixture of the old and the new characterize Emanuel's work, which is designed and crafted in his Jerusalem studio. The principal techniques utilized encompass painting on silk, hand-embroidery, raw-silk appliqué and painting on wood.
