This necklace, bursting with Kabbalistic concepts, is as beautiful as it is meaningful. It is made from two sterling silver pendants, the top one a wheel fitting snugly over the bottom disk with its raised Star of David with a garnet stone center.
On the reverse of the top wheel is the Biblical verse from King David's wisdom, Ki Malachav Yetzaveh Lach Lishmorcha Bechol Deracheicha ("For He shall command His angels for you, to guard you on all your paths.") (Psalms 91:11).
When the top wheel is lifted, it reveals the four verses of the Priestly Blessing, Yevarechecha Hashem Veyishmerecha, Yaer Hashem Panav Elecha Vichuneka, Yisa Hashem Panav Elecha Veyasem Lecha Shalom.Vesamu eth shmi al bnei Israel, va'ani avarechem ("May Hashem (The Lord) bless you and guard you . . . And they [the priests] shall place My name upon the children of Israel, and I will bless them") (Numbers 6:24-27). Every word of this powerful phrase contains a world of meaning.
The reverse of the pendant contains the entire Hebrew text of the Ana Bekoach, a very deep and mysterious spiritual poem written millenia ago. Hidden in the poem are acrostic versions of several of God's holy names.
All the words on this piece were engraved by hand.
