Ready for framing, this stunning work of art will draw gasps of wonder from all who behold it! It is an original design by Jerusalem artist David Fisher. Inspired by ancient Hebrew manuscripts, the design formed in the paper by laser cutting is an unbelievably ornate forest motif with deer and birds. Near the top are the Hebrew words Shabbat Shalom.

In the center is the Hebrew blessing for the Sabbath candles and the additional prayers Jewish women traditionally say afterwards. Surrounding the blessing is a beautiful colorful flower border.

Please note: this piece is not framed but is available framed for an additional price.

David Fisher, born in Jerusalem, is an Israeli graphic designer who has revived the traditional Jewish art form of paper cutting, that goes back to at least the Middle Ages, through utilizing a modern laser cut technology. Together with his expertise in Hebrew typography, the technique of arranging and designing text, these acclaimed works of art are a beautiful portrayal of Jewish blessings, prayers, symbols and decorative motifs.
