A charming adaptation of a female head made from clay known as "the great mother" or "mother goddess."  Characterized by her high pointed headdress, prominent nose, and long, narrow eyes, this fertility symbol originated from the Yarmukian culture in the Jordan Valley.

This item comes with a certificate of authenticity from the Israel Museum, Jerusalem. Enclosed is a short description of its historical background in English and Hebrew.
