Enrich your personal collection of art with this fabulous lithograph of Israeli artist Nahum Gutman's classic work "Ships at Shore." Beautifully colored and skillfully drawn, this work portrays three large ships in one of Israel's Mediterranean ports as a group of people (perhaps new immigrants, perhaps tourists) disembark to waiting boats. Magnificently capturing a classic scene from Israel's history, this work of art will certainly enrich the décor of any home or office that it is displayed in.

Nahum Gutman was born in Romania and immigrated to Israel in 1905, where he began studying art at Bezalel in Jerusalem. He soon rebelled against the traditional teaching methods, and ploughed ahead alone to create his own distinctive style. His art depicted a hidden, exotic Middle East, and won him acclaim both in Israel and across the world. Gutman was also a celebrated children’s author and illustrator, even winning the Israel Prize for Children’s Literature. His work is displayed in the eponymous Gutman Museum in Tel Aviv.
