This wonderful pendant is as full of beauty as it is of history!  It is guaranteed to prompt questions and admiring glances!  

This silver tetradrachm shows the head of a horse with a palm tree on his right, both popular motifs of decoration in the Sicilo-Punic civilization.  The Punic inscription indicates that the people of the region lived in camps.  The original coin was struck in Sicily in the 4th century BCE.
