Limited edition original serigraph. Signed and numbered by the artist.
Size: 16cm x 50cm/6.3" x 19.6"
This gorgeous serigraph beautifully captures a mother and her little girl walking together. The child is half-hidden behind her mother's dress, and behind them is a little collection of houses, and a checkered pathway. Briss's bold use of primary colors means this stunning image really stands out, and would make a fabulous addition to your home.
Samy Briss was born to a Jewish family in Romania in 1930, where he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bucharest before traversing Europe and settling in Israel in 1960. He now lives and works in Paris, painting fabulous and unusual pieces which are surrealist and neo-primitive in style, and nostalgic and symbolic to look at. His work has been displayed across the world in Israel, the USA, and in major European countries including Belgium, Holland, Germany, France and Switzerland.
