The edition is limited to 5748 copies (The Hebrew year 5748 (1988) was the year Israel celebrated 40 years of independence).
The unique 18-color lithograph housing is set in a 24K gold plated bronze case. Both the lithograph and case bear a replica of Mark Chagall's signature. The mezuzah is shipped in a deluxe gift case along with an official certificate of authenticity.
