Peter Gandolfi was born in Parma, Italy. He graduated in Chemistry at the University of Rome in 1970. He was a lecturer in Chemistry and a Research Fellow in Italy and Israel between1972-86. In 1982 he settled in Jerusalem, where he increasingly devoted himself to painting and, since 1986, he has been working as a full time artist. His one-man shows have appeared in Jerusalem, Rome, Tel-Aviv, Haifa and Florence. Several book covers and illustrations by Peter 'G have been published in Italy and in Israel.
