Teaching: Seminar, Bet Hakerem, Jerusalem; 1935 -1952 Bezalel, Jerusalem. 1940-1952 Director, Bezalel, Jerusalem. 1952 - 1963 Supervisor and art advisor for Ministry of Education and Culture, Jerusalem. Prizes: 1954 Unesco Prize. 1963 Israel Prize;1988 Boris Schatz Prize; 1992 Isracard Prize, Museum of Art, Tel Aviv. 1965 Lived in Paris and Jerusalem. 1954, 1958, 1968 Participated in Venice Biennale. 1974 Doctor of Honor, Hebrew University, Jerusalem.
