This gorgeous matzah cover and Afikoman bag set will add the joy of stylish beauty to your Passover Seder! The Matzah cover is designed to look like a seder plate, with the six seder items marked in Hebrew and, on top, Ha Lachma Ania in Aramaic. In the center is written Pesach on the matzah cover and Afikoman on the Afikoman cover in Hebrew letters. The motifs are outlined in gold or black and hand-painted on silk with unique colors using a brush, while the fabric undergoes a fixation process to make it color-fast. The matzah cover has three pocket linings for ease of use during the Seder.
Combining ancient tradition with modern decorative elements into one seamless work of art, this set makes an amazing gift for yourself or someone special that will lend a true sense of freedom every time around.
Artist Yair Emanuel, a graduate of the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, lives and works in Jerusalem. Vivid and harmonious colors as well as a mixture of the old and the new characterize Emanuel's work, which is designed and crafted in his Jerusalem studio.
