The 2016 Yarden Merlot shows great personality, combining ripe berry and cherry notes with jam, spice, chocolate and nuances of orange peel. These characters are highlighted with a background of rich oak and vanilla. This Merlot is full-bodied, complex and delivers a long, tasty finish. Yarden Merlot drinks well now, but will continue to improve with a few years of age. This wine should stay in good shape for up to a decade if stored in good conditions. We enjoy Yarden Merlot with bold flavors such as moussaka, grilled spicy lamb sausages, or a perfectly cooked rack of lamb roasted over a bed of fresh rosemary.
