A popular decorative motif in many Jewish houses is the home blessing, a work that showcases different blessings and expresses our desire for the home to be filled with these attributes. For a modern take on the traditional home blessing, check out this delightful work from Israeli artist Eran Grebler. Gracefully suspended from a central spinner are a collection of ceramic circles beautifully decorated with a colorful Star of David design and inscribed with words of blessing in both Hebrew and English. When spun, the ceramic circles elegantly whizz through the air. An exceptional work from the Land of Israel that is both beautiful and meaningful, this carousel is the perfect Hanukkah gift that can also be displayed throughout the rest of the year.
A second-generation ceramicist, Eran Grebler has been masterfully honing his craft for over 30 years. Based out of his Tel Aviv workshop, Grebler is known for his special Judaica pieces, which include uniquely designed dreidels, mezuzahs and Hamsas among others. An artist like no other, Grebler is also credited with designing the largest dreidel in Israel (and one of the largest in the world)!
