These beautiful hand towels are perfect for the ritual netilat yadayim hand washing. Chain-stitched embroidery on the cotton towel using various colors of thread creates a beautiful colorful floral design as well as the closing words for the Hebrew blessing over hand washing, Al netilat yadayim ("...regarding the washing of the hands").
Artist Yair Emanuel, a graduate of the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, lives and works in Jerusalem.
