Bring in the Jewish New Year in style with this beautiful set of hand towels! It can be used in the kitchen at the Rosh Hashanah feast, or simply as an eye-catching decoration in the kitchen. An embroidered pomegranate design, a classic Jewish (and Rosh Hashanah) decorative motif, surrounds the words, sh'titchadesh aleinu shana tova u'metuka (May it be renewed upon us a happy and sweet New Year).
Artist Yair Emanuel, a graduate of the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, lives and works in Jerusalem. Vivid and harmonious colors as well as a mixture of the old and the new characterize Emanuel's work, which is designed and crafted in his Jerusalem studio. The principal techniques utilized encompass painting on silk, hand-embroidery, raw-silk appliqué and painting on wood.
