Add an unexpected splash of color and beauty to this year's Passover seder with this beautiful hand towel especially designed for use on the night that is different from all other nights! The embroidery on the white cotton terry cloth towel using many colors of thread creates the Hebrew "seder of the seder", found at the beginning of the Haggadah, listing all fifteen sections of the seder. On the towel, the word Ur'chatz, the name of the point in the seder when hands are washed, is in larger letters.
Artist Yair Emanuel, a graduate of the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, lives and works in Jerusalem. Vivid and harmonious colors as well as a mixture of the old and the new characterize Emanuel's work, which is designed and crafted in his Jerusalem studio. The principal techniques utilized encompass painting on silk, hand-embroidery, raw-silk appliqué and painting on wood.
