This gorgeous plata cover will add a touch of color and distinction to your Sabbath kitchen! This cover is intended to cover the various food containers you place on your Shabbat plata (hot plate) to keep them warm and conserve heat.
Here we have a beautiful design featuring an ornately embroidered forest scene with birds. In the center are the Hebrew words of the Bible, Vekarata laShabbat oneg (You shall call the Sabbath a delight) (Isaiah 58:13). This will be a treasured centerpiece in anyone's Sabbath home!
As practical as it is beautiful, the bottom is thick woven cotton cloth which is resistant to high temperatures. The cover is thick, to give good insulation.
Also available: matching challah cover (see "Related Products" below).
