This pendant, bursting with Jewish concepts, is as beautiful as it is meaningful. It is made from a sterling silver disk with a raised interlocking Star of David with an ornate frame.
Around the top side of the disk are hand engraved the Biblical verse for travelers: Ki Malachav Yetzaveh Lach Lishmorcha Bechol Deracheicha ("For He shall command His angels for you, to guard you on all your paths.") (Psalms 91:11).
The back face of the disk is hand engraved with four verses of the Priestly Blessing, Yevarechecha Hashem Veyishmerecha, Yaer Hashem Panav Elecha Vichuneka, Yisa Hashem Panav Elecha Veyasem Lecha Shalom.Vesamu eth shmi al bnei Israel, va'ani avarechem ("May Hashem (The Lord) bless you and guard you . . . And they [the priests] shall place My name upon the children of Israel, and I will bless them") (Numbers 6:24-27). Every word of this powerful phrase contains a world of meaning.
