Some-6 years after the release of "Im Ha'zman," Aviv Gefen returns with a new album. "Mosaic" includes songs that were recorded for the "Reichel-Gefen" Project, duets with Avyatar Banai from the Piano Festival, the song "Nostalgia" featuring Sharon Lipshitz, as well as other new songs that he wrote and produced as part of the production of Ofer Meiri (Metropoline), whom he also partnered up with on this last album.
Since "Me'az Ha'zman," Gefen hasn't exactly been "resting." He's released the album "Tripple Performance," (which has gone international) with a few of the biggest names in international music (Trevor Horn, Ken Nelson, and Dave Sitteck from TV On the Radio). Last year he released The Third Album, Blackfield, featuring Steven Wilson. Lately, he's been participating as a singing coach and mentor on the successful TV program "The Voice."
Gefen is one of the brightest young voices in the Israeli music scene. He's brought us some of the most popular hits of the last 15 years.
