The Seven Species are each mentioned in the Tanakh and were all important at one time or another in many parts of the texts. According to the Mishnah, only the first fruits from harvests of the Seven Species could be brought to the Temple as offerings. Today, the Seven Species are an integral part of Israeli and Jewish cuisine and are considered an important symbol of Eretz Yisrael, the Land of Israel.

Many of the motifs that serve as creative inspiration for Judaica artists - such as pomegranates, honey, figs, and olives - are among the Seven Species of Israel, or שבעת המינים (Shivat HaMinim) in Hebrew. In addition to pomegranates, honey, figs, and olives, there are three more agricultural products from the Land of Israel that make up the Seven Species: wheat, barley, and grapes.

We have rounded up ten of our favorite Seven Species products from our vast selection of home décor, Judaica, jewelry, and other gifts that are inspired by these special fruits and grains. Like every product we carry, each of these items was created by local artisans in the Land of Israel - just like the Seven Species!
