Looking for a unique Book of Prayers that gives a unique expression to your femininity? This unique prayerbook, "In Her Voice", is the one for you:
Designed and compiled by Israeli artist Enya Tamar Keshet who combines traditional and modern elements to her work to breathe new life into the ancient words.
Prayers included in this beautiful book are specially selected to reflect the needs of girls and women from birth to Bat Mitzvah, wedding to pregnancy, and parenthood to mourning.Â
A meaningful companion to guide you through life's important milestones, this wonderful book of prayers makes the perfect gift for a special occasion such as a Bat Mitzvah, wedding or birth of a child.
In this gorgeous book, contemporary Israeli artist Enya Tamar Keshet presents magnificent, illuminated manuscripts of women's prayers. Contained within are 28 prayers collected from around the world, many of which are recited exclusively by women. Each one is a reproduction of Enya's detailed and colorful original work accompanied by text from Hebrew, Ladino, and Yiddish sources. Many of the prayers correspond to a woman's complete cycle of life, from birth to a Bat Mitzvah, for a bride, during pregnancy, after childbirth, on parenting, and also death and mourning. Traditional prayers like Eshet Chayil and Hannah's Prayer of Thanksgiving are also included, as is the first-ever (recently composed) women's prayer before Torah study, and a plate that includes the 115 names of the women in the Torah in the order in which they appear.
Enya Tamar Keshet's works combine the traditional look of medieval illuminated manuscripts with her own very modern inspiration in order to tend the old roots while growing a new tree, as she describes it.
