Israel's biggest movie of 2003, Nina's Tragedies is about Nadav, a 12-year old boy who tells us all about his messed up family, his parents' divorce, his dying father, his wild mother, and most of all about his great love for his aunt Nina.
After the death of Nina's husband, Nadav moves in with her to help her during this difficult period. His fantasies come crashing down however, when she starts seeing a new man. As Nadav comes to grips with the new situation, he is forced to learn much more than he expected about family, love, and adulthood.
