This stunning ring is both beautiful and meaningful. Its numerous zircon diamonds add a sparkle of regal elegance to the piece.
In 1978, the American artist, Robert Indiana (b. 1928), created a 13-foot-tall steel sculpture in the spirit of international brotherhood to the people of Israel. The work, using the four letters of the Hebrew word ahava (love), is based on his well-known word-sculpture "LOVE".
The work is a gift of Dr. and Mrs. Raymond Sackler to Jerusalem's world famous Israel Museum and stands in its seven-acre Billy Rose Sculpture Garden. Designed by the eminent landscape architect-sculptor Isamu Noguchi, it is considered to be one of the most outstanding art gardens in the world.
The Israel Museum Ahava (love) product line is adapted from the sculpture.
This item comes with a certificate of authenticity from the Israel Museum, Jerusalem. Enclosed is a brief description of its historical background in English and Hebrew.
