Richly colored, this glass plate is decorated with pomegranates in dark shades of blue along its rounded edge and a large dark blue pomegranate in the center. This plate boasts six indentations for the Seder's symbolic foods, each with a Hebrew name plaque set above it. The foods are Maror (Bitter Herbs), Beitza (Egg), Z'roah (Shank Bone), Charoset (Special mixture of wine and fruit), Chazeret (Bitter vegetable) and Karpas (Vegetable). Superbly made, this Seder plate is a wonderful blend of traditional ritual and contemporary art.
