Add a piece of exquisite biblical design to your home decor with this beautiful serigraph depicting a scene from the "Song of Songs", attributed to King Solomon. The poem is a conversation of two lovers yearning for each other and is held in Jewish tradition to be an allegory of the bond between G-d and the Jewish People. The work is divided into eight sections to create eight separate beautiful pieces, each one depicting a different scene from the text. With a combination of bold colour and unique shapes, this piece would make the perfect addition to your home decor, or a flawless gift for someone special.

Raphael Abecassis was born in Morocco in 1953 and immigrated to Israel as a young child. He later went on to study at the Beer Sheva College of Education. Many of his works recount the stories of the Bible and are characterized by a refreshing and original array of colours, as well as excellent technical skills. His artistic talent has earned him renown and prizes including for an Independence Day Poster in 1986, the Ministry of Education Award for his piece, the "Psalms of David", and his designing for illuminated text for President Chaim Herzog's speech at the Western Wall in honour of Israel's 40th birthday.
