Why is this Passover differrent from all other Passovers? Because this year, you can have the most beautiful colorful seder plate you ever saw! The set features a cheerful colorful motif of the "Seven Species of the Land of Israel": wheat, barley, grapes, dates, figs, olives, and pomegranates, with dazzlingly bright vibrant colors.
In the center of the plate is the word Pesach in Hebrew. The set comes with six matching bowls, each with the name of its seder item in Hebrew.
Artist Yair Emanuel, a graduate of the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, lives and works in Jerusalem. Vivid and harmonious colors as well as a mixture of the old and the new characterize Emanuel's work, which is designed and crafted in his Jerusalem studio. The principal techniques utilized encompass painting on silk, hand-embroidery, raw-silk appliquÃ© and painting on wood.
