Yair Emanuel Raw Silk Tallit - Birds

We are proud to present an exciting line of Artistic Judaica by Yair Emanuel.  This fabulous raw silk tallit with blue stripes of various shades and a lovely bird design throughout the atarah (yoke), corners, and bag is destined to become a treasured heirloom in your home.

The tallit is made from hand woven raw silk. The stripes, atarah (yoke) and corners are composed of sections of appliquéd raw silk sewn onto the tallit.

This tallit comes with a matching bag and kippah.

Artist Yair Emanuel, a graduate of the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, lives and works in Jerusalem.  Vivid and harmonious colors as well as a mixture of the old and the new characterize Emanuel's work, which is designed and crafted in his Jerusalem studio.  The principal techniques utilized encompass painting on silk, hand-embroidery, raw-silk appliqué and painting on wood.
