Hand-Painted Glass
Diameter: 33.5 cm / 13.19"
Add a touch of contemporary Israeli art to your family's festive Passover celebrations with this beautiful designer Seder plate from Lily Art. Made from glass, this round Seder plate is masterfully hand painted along the edge and in the center with an elaborate design of pomegranates shaded both blue and purple. A popular Jewish symbol, the pomegranate is one of the seven species with which the Land of Israel is blessed and represents the Torah, fruitfulness and abundance. In addition, the center of this plate features six indentations for each of the Seder's symbolic foods that are labelled in Hebrew. The six foods are Charoset (mixture of apple, wine and nuts), Beitzah (eggs), Maror (bitter herbs), Karpas (green vegetable), Zeroah (shank bone) and Chazeret (bitter vegetable). Both practical and decorative, you will love using this Seder plate every Passover for many years to come!!!
Please note: all of Lily Art's products are handmade. This means that no two are alike and the item you receive may be slightly different to the one shown in the image above, as it will be completely unique to you!
