Another Hamsa adorns the front inscribed with a Biblical verse from the traditional Priestly Blessing, Yevarechecha Hashem Veyishmerecha ("May Hashem (The Lord) bless you and guard you.")(Numbers 6:24), which is set above a stunning Hoshen breastplate.
A lovely work of Jewish art that will add a radiance of style and inspiration to your home or office.
The Hamsa symbol is the ancient symbol of Divine protection against negative energies and remains to this day a symbol of luck and protection, making it a popular decorative motif throughout Jewish art and jewelry.
The Hoshen Mishpat was the breastplate worn by the Jewish High Priest in the days of Jerusalem’s Holy Temple. It was adorned with 12 precious stones, as mentioned in Book of Exodus (28:15-30), representing the twelve tribes of Israel: Ruby, Garnet, Citrine, Blue Topaz, Topaz, Sapphire, Peridot, Onyx, Emerald, Diamond, Amethyst and Aquamarine. Today, the elegant design of the Hoshen makes a beautiful decorative motif throughout Jewish art and jewelry.
Danon ltd, established in 1975 as a small workshop for jewelry manufacturing, is today synonymous with original and fashionable Israeli-made designs.
