This gorgeous ceramic teapot features a representation of the famous 4th century Christian fish mosaic excavated from an ancient church in Tabgha on the shores of the Galilee.

The teapot is an extremely light, elegant work of art by a master artist living in Israel. It will make a great gift to put on your mantle, or use it for pouring cold drinks.

The Armenian community in Jerusalem goes back to the 5th century and they occupy one of the 4 quarters of the Old City, a distinct neighborhood within its walls. For thousands of years it has been the world center for these colorfully and richly designed works of art.

Each item from Armenian Ceramics is skillfully crafted from ceramic clay according to traditional methods in the Land of Israel. Once it is formed, each item is baked at a high heat (1000°C) until it hardens. It is then masterfully hand painted using metallic and oxidized paint, allowing it to maintain its natural vibrant colors. After, it is reheated and then coated with a fine layer of glazing. After this traditional process is completed, the final product is sure to become a treasured part of your home decor for many years to come!
