This fabulous pink tallit is made of hand woven raw silk, which is appliqued with embroidery forming a beautiful pomegranate Tree of Life decorative motif, while the atara is embroidered with the words of the traditional blessing said over the wearing of the tallit: Asher kidishanu bemitzvotav vitzivanu lehitatef batzizit.
A classic Jewish decorative motif, the pomegranate has been grown for thousands of years in the Mediterranean region, and is referenced throughout the Bible as one of the 7 species native to the Land of Israel. In addition, the pomegranate has some of the deepest and richest symbolism in Judaism as its many seeds symbolize the abundance of righteousness, prosperity and wisdom.
Available in small or large size.
This tallit comes with a beautiful matching embroidered bag and kippa.
