This is a classical Yemenite kudu shofar with a truly unique twist. Affixed to the top of this wonderful shofar are nine golden candleholders (including the Shamash in the centre), forming a totally kosher Hanukkah menorah. Along the length of the shofar, the words; "These Lights are Sacred", in Hebrew. The shofar is mounted onto two sets of legs allowing it to stand proudly as part of your home decor when not in use. All of our Shofars are crafted according to ancient tradition while utilizing modern methods to produce some of the highest quality shofars in Israel. Mentioned throughout Jewish sources, the sound of the shofar was historically used at various times, including at the giving of the Torah at Mount Sinai. Today, the shofar is used on the Jewish New Year, Rosh Hashanah, when that same sound has the unique power to wake up our soul to the presence of its Infinite source, and to renew a vision of the spiritual connection we are meant to build in this world.
